Nationality/Citizenship:- A candidate must be either
1. A citizen of India
2. A Subject of Nepal
3. A Subject of Bhutan
4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently setting in India or
5. Candidates who are the origin of India migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the united republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with intention of permanently setting in India. Aspirants who are eligible for condition 1, 3, 4 and 5 are eligible for any certificate issued by the government of India.
Age Limit:- Aspirant should not cross the 30 Years For the Post of Junior Engineer Civil, Electrical and Mechanical in MES, Farakka Barrage Project and Border Road Organization, Central Water and Power Research Station, Directorate of Quality Assurance and NTRO. Aspirants are also eligible up to 32 Years For Jr Engineer in Civil and Mechanical for CWC and CPWD.
