SSC CGL Requirements 2023

National Citizenship: A Candidate must be either

(a )A citizen of India or

(b) A Citizen of Nepal

(c) A Subject of Bhutan

(d) A Tibetan refugee who came over India, before 1st January

(e) A person of Indian Origin who has been Migrated from Pakistan, Burma, African, Zambia Ethiopia, Zaira, Vietnam, with an Intention to settle permanently in India.

Persons along with Category mentioned under a,b,c,d above persons who are having Favour of Certificate of Eligibility Criteria, have been issued by Government of India.

Age Limit: Applicants who are willing to apply for the SSC CGL Tire 1 should have the Following Age Limit.

Educational Qualification: 

Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s Degree is Enough.

Junior Statistical Officer: Along with Degree 60% in 12 Maths must be required.

All other Posts:  Degree is Enough

Note: For the post of Section Officer Assistant Section Officer Fraud Investigation Officer, the Computer Proficiency Test is Essential.

Physical Standards:  For the Post of Excise Inspector & sub-Inspector the Fallowing Standards are Required.

chest 81 cms with minimum Expansion of 5cms

Walking 1600 meters
Cycling 08kms in 30 KMS

Physical Test: The Physical Test for Female Candidates is given below.

Walking: 1 Km. in 20 minutes.
Cycling: 3 Kms. in 25 minutes.

ii. Physical standards for the Post of Sub- Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation: The Physical Standard as for the post of Sub Inspector

a. Height for Men
For Men – 165 cms.
For Women – 150 cms.
Height relaxable for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5 cms.

b. Chest: The Chest & its Expansion also given below
76 cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates)
